Shine Beam Clinic Nowon

I wrote a truthful review on Naver, but they requested it be deleted claiming defamation, so it got taken down. Attaching my Naver review below ===== I didn't expect a dramatic effect from lifting laser in one session, but I spent over 300,000 won for one session, and there should be at least some visible sign to make me want to go back and do it again — there is completely zero effect. Not even a tiny bit. On top of that, my skin broke out like crazy from the air jet, and the three of us sisters went to treat ourselves, spent a million won, and came away with nothing but stress and breakouts. Air jet + Inmode + some kind of caffeine injection or whatever, and it was something like 350,000 won per person. Air jet is sold in units like 100 shots, 150 shots, but apparently it's not actually the number of shots, it's the amount of liquid. But they don't show you the amount or anything, so I don't know if there's actually a difference. Anyway, it wasn't good. I don't know if the laser itself is bad, the person doing it is bad, or just this particular branch is bad, but all three treatments had zero effect. This is the truthful visit review of a dissatisfied customer who visited in September 2021, wrote the review, and had it deleted in October.

I applied the numbing cream and waited more than an hour, and even when I asked, there was no proper explanation and they were unkind — I don't know what they were doing. Since I felt the waiting time would be wasted, I got the procedure done and it dragged on, but I'll never use this place again. Even the so-called head director is unkind, so of course the staff would be kind too, right? They're only smiling and kind during the consultation and when giving quotes. Applying the numbing cream should take 20-30 minutes, at most just over an hour, but I have no idea what they were doing. I knew it was a factory-style hospital, but it's literally just a factory.

Now that I'm in my late 30s, my skin gets rough no matter what I do, so I finally got the Rejuran shot I'd heard was painful so many times my ears had calluses! It's right near Nowon Station as soon as you come out, so accessibility was convenient and nice, and I don't handle pain well, but the director injected it so shoosh-shoosh-shoosh fast that it was bearable! They say hand skill matters a lot for this, and I'm satisfied. These are before and day-4 photos — everyone should get it. Totally recommend.

I booked the Aqua Peel and skin care first-visit event and visited. Facial skin measurement photo shoot & consultation was 10,000 won, and they said the measurement photo would be free if I paid for the booked procedure, so of course I went ahead with the photo shoot. They took the photo and proceeded with the consultation, but then said the Aqua Peel and skin care I had booked were out of stock, so it would be hard to get the procedure at the event price, and recommended a different procedure instead.…

I've been going consistently for hair removal! The director has a long career so the skill seems good, and he's kind! The staff are kind too and the hospital is clean. It's right there as soon as you come out of Nowon Station, which is great~ It doesn't seem like a place that pushes things on you burdensomely, so in Nowon I only go to Shine Beam~ Good good

I used to bounce around dermatology clinics near Nowon Station, but I'm settling on Shine Beam Nowon branch for good! From the director to the staff who guide you, everyone is so kind that I leave feeling good every single time>ㅁ< Even during busy hours, you can clearly see that they pay attention to each person individually!!…

I got Botox on my forehead, glabella, and jaw, but even after 2 weeks there's absolutely no effect. Really not even a little effect. I sent a KakaoTalk message and they said it can vary from person to person (there was no notice of this during the consultation) and that the only option is to pay more money for a re-treatment.

I go occasionally for laser hair removal, and it's great that it's close to Nowon Station. The director's hand skill is good too. He's kind. I've been to several other dermatology clinics nearby, but I only go here now. Whatever else you do, definitely come here for hair removal. Strongly recommend.

For a factory-style dermatology clinic, it's not exactly cheap. The consultation managers push all sorts of things on you heavily. I don't think they have any professionalism at all. At a normal dermatology clinic the care staff wash your face for you, but here you have to wash your own face yourself.…

Unkindness itself. They said they'd send a guidance text message but never sent it, and the staff spoke with sighs in a tone like "I'm dead tired, don't ask me anything."

The skill of the care staff varies a lot from person to person, but the value for money is good.

They don't push a lot of different things on you, so there's no burden.
