Aside from the fact that on the first day they removed the nose cotton (packing) and I bled so much they had to plug it again with cotton, it's been two months and I still haven't had any side effects. But when I went in for post-op follow-up care, I felt like the notes/handoff weren't communicated properly ㅠ Because at the 3-week mark there was still dissolving thread left inside my nose that they said they'd check at 4 weeks, and they also said they'd check the rib-cut area, but when I came in at 4 weeks they didn't look at either my nose or my rib area at all ㅠㅠ So I told the front desk that I'd been told last week they'd do one more follow-up check, but they just said it was fine for me to leave, so I just left. I guess they were busy. Also, earlier I thought I had an inflammation and called/messaged the hospital on KakaoTalk, and everyone kept saying they couldn't really tell over the phone or from photos and that they'd just look at it when I came in the following week — this kind of response almost gave me a breakdown (when I asked if they could relay it to the director, I got brushed off ㅜㅜ). The only one who seriously listened to my concerns and relayed the symptoms to the director was the manager in charge, and I appreciated that. Anyway, overall I'm so-so satisfied.

This is my 1-year review of my eyes and nose. The eyes were done with natural adhesion, and for the nose they probably used ear cartilage. Honestly I just told them the line I wanted and asked for the nose to look natural, and left the rest up to the director, so I don't know the exact details ㅎㅎㅎ The day after surgery my nose got blocked, I even ran a fever, and I thought I was going to die, but it gradually got better, and by around week 2-3 I could go outside! I wanted it to look completely natural and I feel like that's exactly how it turned out, so I'm happy!! Especially with the eyes, people are surprised when I tell them I had it done..? ㅋㅋㅋ There weren't really any side effects, just a bit of rhinitis developed. My nose bridge used to be so low that I hid it with glasses, but now I don't need to wear them anymore, which makes me happy ㅎ I don't need double eyelid tape either so my prep time is shorter too. And above all, I've been told I look pretty quite a lot ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Since it was my very first procedure ever I was really scared, but it truly didn't hurt at all, and the director did the procedure so thoroughly that I was really grateful. Honestly I hadn't expected the head director himself would do the procedure, but he did such a great job.
