The phone consultant was unkind. While discussing an endoscopy consultation, she brought up a health checkup first, and when I asked how the costs would be handled for that, her tone was scolding, as if she was annoyed either that I had asked in detail or that having to explain at length was bothersome. Pre-visit phone inquiries, whether at university hospitals or private clinics, seem to share this characteristic, nurses with a curt, unkind tone that you can feel from the other end of the line. Even though this is a service job that includes phone reception, is it just always like this? This is before my first visit, could not the phone response before a visit have been a bit kinder? My stomach condition seems bad and I need to get an endoscopy, so I am planning to go, but if it was not necessary I would want to cancel the reservation right this instant.

I visited to get a health certificate issued. The price range was in the low-to-mid ten-thousands of won. The interior facilities were clean and spacious, and there were multiple staff at the payment counter.
