[Hooked nose, arrow nose, crooked nose — implant-free nose surgery] *What led me to surgery I'd had a complex about my nose for a while, and I kept just agonizing over whether to get surgery for several years since my 20s without deciding. Family and acquaintances told me over and over that fixing just my nose would completely change me, but as a coward, I couldn't easily commit. Cost was one factor, but reviews also showed a lot of side effects, and worry and fear kept me just thinking about it until now without doing anything. I was genuinely scared... Before it got even later, since I was going to do it eventually anyway, I decided to trade this year-end for the surgery. From the moment I decided, I did a lot of legwork and research and visited 4 places, and I'd already booked one place, but in the end I went with Barocode Hospital, where the director clearly told me what couldn't be done, and since it specializes in noses, I felt reassured the whole consultation. I could also file an insurance claim, which reduced the financial burden, and while other hospitals rushed through the consultation and ended it quickly, this hospital consulted with me for a long time, which built trust, so I canceled my other booked hospital and decided on this one right away. Since it was my first surgery, I had a lot of questions and worries, and even though I asked the consultation manager many questions, she answered everything kindly, and even afterward when I texted questions and called worried a lot, seeing her reassure me made me trust them enough to go through with surgery. The thorough aftercare especially was what made me decide on surgery. The surgery name was: own rib cartilage + hooked-nose osteotomy + nasal valve reconstruction + septum deviation correction + rhinitis + crooked-nose correction (functional + cosmetic). My nasal tip was quite pressed down and drooping, so I focused mainly on that area for the cosmetic aspect. *1-month review It's already been almost a month since surgery. I've been paying attention to swelling management and looking in the mirror a lot more these days. They said my nasal tip would come down a bit as the swelling goes down, and while I hoped it would come down just a little, it seems to be coming down more than I expected. Looking at it from the front, it looks a bit like an arrow nose, so I'm a little worried. Still, I'm relieved that the side profile line doesn't look drooping. The swelling hasn't completely gone down yet, so I'm hoping it settles into a pretty shape. I think it was really the right decision to do this while I could.^^

I've been struggling with rhinitis and a hooked nose for a few years now, and I looked into hospitals in several different areas. Nose surgery is such a major operation, and I heard many stories about people needing revision surgery due to side effects, so I couldn't easily make a decision. Above all, having to keep gauze packed in my nose and a splint on right after surgery seemed like it would make daily life uncomfortable. Then I came across "Barocode's Continuous Nose" through Naver blogs, cafes, and Instagram, and after a consultation I went ahead with surgery right away. When I visited, Director Kim Jun explained everything so kindly and thoroughly that I trusted him, and thanks to his extensive career, I was able to decide on surgery the very same day as the consultation. I think this is well-suited for office workers like me who have a wedding coming up and need a quick recovery, or who want surgery that won't disrupt daily life, and that's the reason I decided on the continuous-nose method without much hesitation. Since it was done closed (non-open), there's almost no pain or bruising, and it already feels natural. The swelling is gradually going down, and I'm working hard every day with ice packs and walks to help it go down even faster. I've also been drinking anti-swelling tea whenever I get the chance.ᐟ Once the stitches come out and more time passes, I expect it to look even more natural, like my own original nose.

7th day review [Dorsal - rib cartilage slice (rib cartilage particles) / Nasal tip - rib cartilage / Function - septoplasty / rhinoplasty] I did a nose job using only autologous cartilage without any artificial implants. A straight nose style? I wanted a straight nose like a bulletproof vest, a straight nose like BTS, so I consulted Dr. Kim Jun-won at BaroKo Clinic, and I liked the doctor so much that I decided quickly. I looked for a place that does a lot of male nose surgeries, and BaroKo has many rhinoplasty cases, and Dr. Kim Jun-won is quite famous for doing nose surgeries well, so I went ahead with the surgery. Since it was my first surgery, I was worried, but thanks to painless anesthesia, I don’t think it was painful. Since I could only breathe through my mouth, I took painkillers that helped me get through the first two days. I also diligently applied ice packs, walked more than 30 minutes daily, and only felt a little discomfort on the day of surgery. From the next day, I went about my daily life comfortably. However, the swelling in my nose hasn’t fully gone down yet, so I need to wait and work on reducing it. My nose now has a straight line, which boosts my confidence. Haha, not quite BTS, but I feel as confident as that, and I am grateful to the doctor.

I had a slightly hooked-nose feel, not a completely low nose — I had functional and cosmetic nose surgery together due to a functional problem. Posting my 2-week review after having surgery with Director Kim Jun at Barocode Hospital. Pre-surgery condition My nose was small with a drooping tip, so I'd gotten thread filler in the tip twice before, but it didn't hold — it sank back down again within a few months. When I got a CT scan, they told me I also had sinusitis and a deviated septum. They said it was tilted to one side and that my nasal bridge was crooked too. After the nose surgery On day 7, the bruising and swelling were rough. It was hard to breathe and my face felt numb. Breathing through my mouth dried out my mouth and throat, so I honestly didn't even have energy to talk, and I got sensitive being careful even while sleeping. By week 2, faint yellow bruising started showing but makeup covered it, so it became bearable. I think thanks to drinking pumpkin juice regularly and taking walks, the swelling went down a lot and things started looking natural. Breathing got easier too, and after washing up I looked like a whole new, prettier person, which made me smile without even trying. As I recover and my nose looks more natural, my confidence is growing, and I'm excited and looking forward to meeting friends in December.

A hospital that does pretty nose shapes and quality surgery! A place with no side effects! I searched specifically for a hospital good at functional nose surgery, got a consultation, and had my nose surgery done right at Barocode Clinic by Director Kim Jun, and I'm posting my review. Materials used: nasal bridge — no implant / nasal tip — own rib cartilage + dermis / functional — septum + rhinitis treatment <Day 1 through week 1 review> Before surgery: I had a pretty severe hooked nose and a drooping tip, so I avoided taking side photos, and my nose overall gave off the feeling of being pressed in from the side. Day 1 through day 7: Swelling and bruising weren't too bad, and I did ice packs frequently. I mainly ate soft porridge, and other than the area where the rib cartilage was harvested, there wasn't much real pain, but since the bleeding didn't stop easily, I had to keep the packing in for a long time, which gave me a bit of a headache. There's still a lot of swelling so it looks like an avatar-nose, but the side line has improved a lot. Once I finally removed all the bandages stuck all over, the line seemed to have come to life nicely, though there's still some bruising. There's still swelling, but I think it turned out really well at this point. My nose still feels stuffy inside, but now that the bandage is off, it feels a lot more livable.

I had severe rhinitis and a nose that somewhat resembled a hooked nose. Dr. Kim Jun at 바로코 hospital naturally adjusted my nose to a straight profile that suited my needs (like Karina, haha). After removing the splint, my breathing improved a lot. It felt like my nose was completely unblocked. Before, when I took a deep breath, my nose would get clogged and I had to breathe through my mouth, but now I can breathe through my nose. I really asked Dr. Kim Jun to do the surgery discreetly without a plastic surgery look. After surgery, they also used laser to help reduce swelling quickly and provided oxygen therapy to improve blood circulation and swelling. All the staff are very kind~~!! Thank you, Director Kim, the staff, and everyone! After 2 weeks and about 3 weeks, the yellow bruising faded, and I am very satisfied with both the aesthetic and functional results.

Functional cosmetic nose surgery (rhinoplasty + septoplasty + nasal hump correction) After three months, my nose looks more natural, and my close friends all say the swelling has gone down and it looks like my real nose. Most importantly, functionally, I had severe nasal congestion before, which sometimes caused apnea during sleep and made me very tired, but I think the functional improvement is really significant. I personally am 120% satisfied. I received consultation and surgery at BaroKo Clinic directly recommended by an acquaintance, Dr. Kim Jun-won. Since it is a specialized hospital for functional rhinoplasty, the system is very well organized, and from consultation to surgery, treatment, and insurance claim, there was nothing to complain about. However, the hospital is very busy, so there was a bit of a waiting time, which was a bit disappointing. If you are considering nose surgery, I highly recommend getting a consultation at least once.

I was studying abroad and decided to get rhinoplasty last year. I consulted at BaroKo, and they said I needed to fix a deviated septum and nasal valve along with the rhinoplasty. I thought rhinoplasty was only for a runny nose, but it turned out I had other issues. As time passed and I had the chance, I reconsulted with Dr. Kim Jun-won and smoothly proceeded with the nose surgery. After discussing the method and materials, I finalized the plan: [Dorsal - rib cartilage slice / Nasal tip - autologous rib cartilage / Function - septoplasty / nasal valve / rhinitis] Seven days later, I even took selfies naturally. It looks natural and smooth, and I think the functional rhinoplasty will be clearer after more time, but I am satisfied. Lately, I feel attached to my nose?! I want to express my respect to the doctor who successfully performed the surgery without inflammation. Thank you very much!!!

Days 3 to 7 My nasal tip being low had always been a complex of mine. So I looked into surgery, but I kept putting it off since I thought I'd need a long rest period and the splint and gauze would be uncomfortable, until I came to learn about closed (non-open) rhinoplasty. I looked for a hospital that's been open a long time with an experienced head director, and I thought Barocode fit perfectly, so I booked a consultation right away. During the consultation with the director, he was really kind and made sure I never felt anxious, so I trusted him and booked surgery right away. Even the swelling on day 2 barely felt believable it was really day 2, and on day 2 they also removed the tape, so even though it was already fairly comfortable to begin with, it became even more comfortable. I took one day off and I'm going straight back to work!

I had a nasal fracture as a student and only had reduction surgery done at the time, but as I grew up my nose gradually became more and more crooked, turning into a badly deviated nose. So every time I looked in the mirror, the crooked nose stressed me out, and I decided on surgery, and while looking into hospitals I learned about Barocode, and the doctor and nurses were so kind and trustworthy that I decided on no-implant surgery. The surgery finished well with no infection or side effects, and above all I liked how kindly and attentively they took care of me. My nose has also gained confidence in its side profile now, so I've been showing it off proudly.

It's already been over a month since I had functional nose surgery. I got the consultation and surgery done at Barocode Clinic, and it feels like I had it just the other day, but time really does fly. The swelling seems to have gone down almost completely, and my nose line came out looking the way I wanted, I'll still need to keep monitoring it, but breathing has become a lot more comfortable!

All the concerns I had were resolved, and since they told me I could get back to daily life quickly, I even went to work the very next day after surgery. I'm glad this simple surgery solved what was bothering me!!
